The BBC News School Report has been an insightful and exciting experience - overall it’s been very enjoyable but it’s safe to say we’ve had our fair share of stressful moments. Although the day itself has gone relatively smoothly so far, the same can’t be said for the weeks leading up to this moment. As a class we’ve had to overcome several hurdles such as lessons with supply teachers and lessons that we’ve missed altogether due to hold-ups like a lengthy assembly which over ran. On top of this we’ve had to work through issues in our own group because of the absence of our original Cameraman. Despite these obstacles everything seems to have come together and I’m confident that the finished product will turn out be an impressive news report. As well as the work itself we’ve all learnt some valuable skills including teamwork, job application, and confidence. On the whole the BBC News School Report has been great fun, working with friends to create something we would have thought wasn’t possible has been amazing - way better than the average school day.
